Over the past few weeks, the cases of COVID-19 have increased throughout the country, including the metropolitan area. It is understandable that the public is nervous. Be assured, our Union is following the CDC’s lead, along with advice from the New York Department of Health to keep members and their families safe.
Currently, our administrative offices remain open, but we are requesting that members limit their visits to our office to services that are essential and cannot be completed via e-mail or by telephone. We suggest visits to the office to see the administrative staff or business agents be reserved for emergencies. Please see our Member Reference Guide for more information.
Please continue to e-mail all sick fund claim forms to firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be the most efficient way to receive your Sick Fund claim forms. Forms can still be mailed, but the claims processing will take longer. All Sick Fund checks will be mailed to participants. Forms received prior to 11:30am will be processed and mailed that day. Forms received after 11:30am will be processed and mailed the next business day. You can also fax us at (212) 504-3292.
