Over the past few weeks, the cases of COVID-19 have increased throughout the country, including the metropolitan area. It is understandable that the public is nervous. Be assured, our Union is following the CDC’s lead, along with advice from the New York Department of Health to keep members and their families safe.

Currently, our administrative offices remain open, but we are requesting that members limit their visits to our office to services that are essential and cannot be completed via e-mail or by telephone. We suggest visits to the office to see the administrative staff or business agents be reserved for emergencies. Please see our Member Reference Guide for more information.

Please continue to e-mail all sick fund claim forms to sickfund@local94.com. This will be the most efficient way to receive your Sick Fund claim forms. Forms can still be mailed, but the claims processing will take longer. All Sick Fund checks will be mailed to participants. Forms received prior to 11:30am will be processed and mailed that day. Forms received after 11:30am will be processed and mailed the next business day. You can also fax us at (212) 504-3292.

Please continue to follow the CDC guidelines for protecting yourself and others.  Those guidelines can be found here https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/need-to-know.html

Remember to get your free flu shot, as it is more important than ever this year. Please visit our flu shot page for more information.

Please call or email us (administrative staff or business agents) with any questions or issues you may have. Visit our contact page for more information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 TESTING REQUESTED BY EMPLOYER

If your employer requires you to take a COVID-19 test, please do not use your IUOE Local 94 Health Fund insurance card (Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield). Instead, request your employer's insurance information, so your employer can be billed. The payment for company required testing is your employer's responsibility, not the IUOE Local 94 Health Fund's. If your employer does not want to provide you with this information or you are having issues with this matter, please contact your Business Representative. See the attached letter from Local 94.
