Local 94 Wellness Survey Results
Earlier this year, Local 94 conducted a “Wellness Survey.” Thank you to all who participated and completed it! We understand that these past few months have been very hard on everyone. As we have seen during this pandemic, there is an even greater need to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally. Local 94 remains committed to the health and well-being of its members and their families. The data we have collected from this survey will help us support you in meeting your wellness needs.
The survey asked about types of programs you would like to participate in, interest in various wellness topics and preferred modes of communication. We were very pleased with the level of engagement from our members, with over 900 responses from a wide range of work designations and age groups.
Here are some highlights of the results!
Top three programs members are likely to participate in:
- Health Challenges
- Online Health Education
- Health Coaching
While there was high level of interest in many wellness topics, the top three were Physical Activity, Nutrition and Preventive Health.
The top three ways members would like to receive communications were e-mail, on the Local 94 Website and regular mail.
There were also many great comments on numerous wellness topics.
The data we collected has been very helpful and has provided us with valuable insight as we move forward in providing quality health and wellness offerings for our members and their families. Please be on the lookout for some exciting new services and wellness promotion in the coming months, including Diabetes Management, Social Media and Preventive Care Awareness.
Thank you and be well!
